  1. CAT - a - DISK is a disk cataloging program written in Turbo Pascal
  2. (TM Borland Int.), and designed to allow the user to compile a catalog
  3. of all of their floppy (and hard) disks.
  4.  
  5. The features of this program include:
  6.    -  Ability to select and use different catalog names
  7.    -  Catalog filenames from any drive on your system.  (with automatic
  8.       detection of drive)
  9.    -  Monochrome or color monitor operation.
  10.    -  Add  or Edit file comments of up to 30 characters at any time.
  11.    -  Catalog up to three sub directories deep
  12.    -  Consolidated listings in alphabetical order by filename in either
  13.       summary or detailed fashion.
  14.    -  Listing by disk identifier.
  15.    -  Consolidated free space listing.
  16.    -  Re-catalog entire disks or only newly added files.
  17.    -  Ability to UN-catalog a disk
  18.    -  Search routine to locate the correct disk containing any filename.

  20. Hardware Requirements:  IBM PC or compatible, minimum 384K RAM, 1 floppy
  21.          drive, DOS 2.0 or higher and an Epson/IBM compatible printer
  22.          for listings.

  24. Registration: CAT-a-DISK is a fully functional program not a Demo.  For
  25.          a $15 registration fee you receive a laser printed copy of the
  26.          full users manual as well as a copy of the next release of Cat-
  27.          a-Disk and notification of other programs as they may become
  28.          available.
